El Ático de Daniela – Rooftop Terrace in Valladolid
For this rooftop terrace project in Valladolid, El Ático de Daniela set out to create a comfortable outdoor living space with an urban yet relaxed feel. To bring structure, warmth and a sense of cohesion to the space, they chose our Aral 01 rug.
The rug serves as the foundation of the outdoor living area, defining the seating zone, bringing together the sofa and coffee table, and reinforcing the feeling of an outdoor room rather than a transitional space. Its subtle striped pattern naturally complements the rest of the scheme—the cushions, pouf and pergola also feature stripes—creating a cohesive look that feels effortless and well considered.
The choice of our Aral 01 was also driven by the practical demands of an outdoor setting. Made from recycled PET and featuring UV protection integrated into the fibre, it is designed to retain its colour and texture despite prolonged sun exposure and regular use. Combined with its easy maintenance, this durability makes it particularly well suited to outdoor interior design projects.
