Natalia Zubizarreta Interiorismo | Bright Home in Madrid
Light is the real star of this Madrid home, designed by Natalia Zubizarreta Interiorismo. The studio starts from a clean, serene base and layers texture over it: natural-touch wallpapers, moldings and paneling, striped fabrics and small green and terracotta details that bring each corner to life. Wood, natural fibers and rattan complete a warm, welcoming home you won’t want to leave.
The living room is one of the brightest areas, with large windows and several sofas in neutral tones that invite you to sit down. To ground and frame the space, the interior designer chose our Nordica Chevron Haze. Its herringbone pattern in a soft tone marks out the seating area and adds texture to the floor without overloading the room, in line with the calm palette found throughout the home.
In the bedrooms, the choice was our Maya Gradient Oat. Its oatmeal tone works with the natural fabrics, stripes and greens that recur across the beds, and its texture brings a soft, warm feel underfoot. It works just as well in the children’s room as in the primary bedroom, always echoing the bright, natural feel that defines the project.
